Lauren Patterson

Lauren Patterson

Paralegal

Lauren has spent much of her life here in the North Carolina Triad region. She grew up in Clemmons, NC, before she moved to Greensboro in 2006. Lauren graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009 where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Communication Studies. After graduation, she worked in a few different career fields before deciding to go back to school for Paralegal Studies. In 2013, she earned her Paralegal Certificate from Guilford College and has been working in the legal field ever since, in both Family Law and Intellectual Property Law.

Growing up, Lauren’s initials were LAW; so, her parents always told her she was destined to be in the legal field in some way. After working in Intellectual Property Law for the last few years, she is very excited to be delving back into the Family Law side of things, where she started her legal career. Lauren decided to go back to Family Law as it gives her the opportunity to be passionate again about connecting with people and the work she is doing and see the impact it has on our client’s lives.

Lauren has two daughters, and they keep her very busy. Her oldest does competitive gymnastics, while her youngest just started gymnastics so she can, “be big just like her big sister.” Lauren also operates a home-based bakery business where she keeps busy creating custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies for all sorts of special life events. In her free time, Lauren loves to read and is an avid sports fan who enjoys watching football, soccer, and basketball.
